Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a primary-aged pupil in the Westerhope area. This role involves supporting a child with ADHD and suspected autism, helping them engage with learning and build confidence.

You will collaborate with teachers and SEND staff to support attention, emotions and social interactions, fostering independence and resilience in a nurturing school setting.

Qualificações

• Graduate in Psychology or related field.
• Experience supporting children or young people is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient personality with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Support attention, focus and classroom engagement.
• Help pupil develop positive social interactions.
• Support emotional regulation and wellbeing.
• Work closely with teachers and SEND staff.
• Encourage independence and resilience.
