Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Profound Disabilities and Learning Needs in an SEN School in Haringey. You will work one-to-one with the pupil, alongside the class teacher and family, to support learning, development and daily routines within the school setting.

You will deliver aspects of the pupil's EHCP, build a trusting relationship, promote well-being and help implement strategies with teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a Primary Setting.
• Excellent communication skills with pupils, families and staff.
• Ability to build relationships and provide supportive, positive guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support the pupil throughout the school day, including lessons, breaks, meals and travel between activities.
• Deliver aspects of the pupil's EHCP and support learning and inclusion strategies.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and adapt approaches.
• Promote positive resources and contribute to the pupil's well-being.
• Liaise with family to tailor support and ensure consistency between home and school.
