Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant London Borough of Waltham Forest school. You will support learning activities, assist with planning and assessment, and deliver targeted interventions to help pupils progress.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year experience supporting students with SEN.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident with leading groups.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning.
• Work collaboratively as a team.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required.
• Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment.
• Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress.
• Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Support students on a 1:1 basis.
