Educato Limited is working with a welcoming primary school in Worsley to recruit a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs. You will provide daily 1:1 support, helping the pupil access the curriculum, adapt activities, and develop confidence and independence while following EHCP targets and safeguarding procedures.

Location: Worsley, Greater Manchester Salary: £110+ per day Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Educato Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Worsley to recruit a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN professional who is passionate about providing personalised support and helping children overcome barriers to learning.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide consistent 1:1 support, helping the pupil engage with lessons, develop their confidence and make positive progress.
Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
Support the pupil to access the curriculum and classroom activities.
Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs.
Support communication, emotional regulation and social development.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
Help develop the pupil's confidence, independence and learning skills.
Follow individual support strategies and EHCP targets where appropriate.
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.
Experience working on a 1:1 basis would be advantageous.
Patient, calm and consistent in your approach.
Able to build strong relationships with children.
Confident managing challenging situations positively.
Proactive and able to use your own initiative.
Passionate about helping children reach their potential.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
