Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Bristol and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible full-time, part-time, and long-term opportunities with immediate start.

You will provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with SEN/SEND, helping them access learning and develop confidence, while working closely with teachers and SENCOs to tailor learning plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ recent SEN/SEND experience in the UK.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA or similar.
• Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable.
• Calm, patient and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with at least 6 months of SEN experience? Protocol Education is currently recruiting for 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Bristol.

You’ll provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and make progress in a safe and supportive environment.
