Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across schools in Bristol. The role focuses on one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them access lessons and remain engaged throughout the day.

The position offers full-time hours, a daily pay rate of 95–110 GBP, and a supportive consultant to help you secure placements within Bristol schools. Candidates with enhanced DBS and a calm, empathetic approach are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is required.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support to an individual pupil.
• Support access to classroom learning and activities.
• Assist with emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Help pupils develop confidence and independence.
• Follow individual education and support plans.
