Long Term Futures in Redditch is seeking a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 2 within a Year 1 class from September 2026. This full-time, long-term role focuses on 1:1 assistance, communication, and access to learning.
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals in a nurturing school environment that values patience and consistent routines to help the pupil reach their learning goals.
Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the Redditch area from September 2026. This is a full-time 1:1 role supporting a pupil currently in Year 2, who accesses learning within the Year 1 classroom due to their individual needs. The pupil has Autism (ASD), is mostly non-verbal, and requires patient, consistent support to access learning, develop communication skills, and engage positively throughout the school day. The school offers a highly supportive environment, with experienced staff and an inclusive ethos centred around helping every child achieve their full potential.
All applicants must have an enhanced DBS and two references to be considered.
