Job summary

St John's Primary Academy in Essington is seeking a Learning Support Assistant with 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs. Part-time, permanent role, Grade 2 salary.

The successful candidate will support pupils with learning, help deliver an appropriate curriculum, and work with teachers to foster a nurturing learning environment. Prior SEN experience and safeguarding awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Applications invited from an enthusiastic, hard-working LSA with experience in supporting childrens learning in school.
• Candidate will work with pupils to develop and deliver an appropriate curriculum in line with needs.
• Role requires patient, nurturing, and dedicated support for children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the teacher in care of pupils and management of the classroom.
• Support development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.
• Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and progress records.
