Job summary

Singlewell Primary School is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, helping the pupil access learning and develop independence, ensuring they feel safe, happy and included throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with learners and staff.
• Ability to respond to individual needs and provide consistent encouragement.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs during the school morning.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to enable access to learning.
• Help the pupil develop independence and feel safe, happy and included in school life.
