Job summary

The Graduate Network is looking for a patient and resilient graduate to join a good primary school in Wolverhampton as a 1:1 SEN Learning Mentor. You will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a non-verbal pupil with additional needs and help the pupil access learning, following daily routines and ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout the day.

Immediate start until July 2027. Applicants should have a 2:2 degree or above in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or a related subject,

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or a related subject.
• Genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEN and communication needs.
• Enhanced DBS - must hold or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a non-verbal pupil with additional needs.
• Help the pupil access learning, follow daily routines and feel safe and supported.
• Work with the class teacher and SEN team to provide structure and reassurance.
