Job summary

Croftway Academy in Blyth, part of WISE Academies, seeks a highly motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a temporary post. You will work directly with the pupil, prepare resources and deliver a 1:1 curriculum within our welcoming school community.

The successful candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English (4/C) and Level 2 Early Years or be willing to work towards it, with strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (C) or above.
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or willingness to work towards.
• Support quality first teaching alongside the class teacher.
• Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• Willing to engage in training and intervention programmes.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• ICT proficiency to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pupil support to assist learning.
