Job summary

Crookhey Hall School, part of Outcomes First Group, seeks a caring and resilient 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated, individual support to a pupil throughout the day. You will help the pupil access learning, support emotional regulation and encourage social interaction in a Safe, calm environment.

GCSE English and Maths are required, along with a Full UK Driving Licence and a patient, positive approach.

Qualifications

GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) completed.
Full UK Driving Licence required.
Patient, reliable and positive approach.
Ability to build trust with a young person and maintain consistency.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; confidentiality upheld.
Flexibility to adapt support to individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

Provide consistent 1 to 1 support throughout the school day.
Help the pupil access learning and adapt activities to needs.
Build a trusting professional relationship to foster safety and readiness to learn.
Observe progress and share information with the wider team.
Support participation in activities, recreation and educational visits.
Work with teachers to follow personalised learning and support plans.
Assist with emotional regulation and social development as needed.
