Job summary

Crowle Church of England Primary School is seeking a 1:1 teaching assistant to support an individual pupil with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will work with the classroom teacher to deliver learning programmes and monitor progress.

Experience as a 1:1 TA is required. The role begins 1st September 2026 and includes safeguarding checks (DBS, references). We offer CPD opportunities, a supportive staff and a dedicated Governing Body within a church school.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant is required.
• Applicants should state any further areas of expertise they may bring to the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a named pupil with SEN.
• Work with the classroom teacher to deliver learning programmes.
• Assist with learning activities across the school as directed by the Headteacher.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and DBS/compliance requirements.
• Contribute to a caring, supportive school environment.
