Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a patient, proactive 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a specialist secondary school in Crumpsall. You will build strong relationships with students, support independence and provide consistent on-site support as well as during off-site community visits.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. You will work closely with teachers and the wider SEN/pastoral team to help students achieve EHCP outcomes and progress into further education,

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting young people with SEN/additional needs.
• Experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH desirable.

Location: Crumpsall
Salary: 97- 110 per day, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-Time Long-Term

Are you a patient, resilient and proactive Learning Support Assistant who enjoys building meaningful relationships with young people and helping them develop confidence and independence?

This highly regarded specialist secondary school, part of an established academy trust, has an excellent reputation of supporting students to achieve their potential. Many students progress into further education, training and employment.

The school supports Key Stage 3 and 4 students, all with EHCPs and a range of needs including ASC, ADHD and SEMH.

The Role

This is a rewarding 1:1 Learning Support Assistant opportunity, supporting a small number of students throughout their school day. You will build strong, trusting relationships and provide consistent support both on-site and during off-site community visits, including trips to the library, sports centre and other local facilities.

A full UK driving licence is essential. Access to your own vehicle is required, be comfortable transporting students and hold appropriate business insurance.
