Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a 1-1 Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and other complex needs in a specialist ASC setting. The role involves working one-to-one, promoting engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.

The school offers a nurturing environment with small class sizes and a strong therapeutic approach. Start: ASAP. Daily pay is £92.56–£105 through PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/young people with complex needs or SEND.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, promoting engagement and wellbeing.

The specialist ASC School is a well-regarded specialist setting supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, the school offers a nurturing, well-resourced environment with small class sizes and a strong therapeutic approach. The role involves supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, promoting engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements

• Experience of working with children or young people with complex needs/SEND
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• A passion for supporting individual progress and wellbeing
• An ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
