We are a leading global organization embarking on an ambitious and transformative project to upgrade our legacy AX system to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) across 10 countries. This strategic initiative aims to enhance our operational efficiency, streamline processes, and leverage the advanced capabilities of D365 F&O. We are seeking a skilled and experienced D365 F&O Developer to join our dynamic team for this challenging and rewarding journey.
Position Summary:
As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer, you will play a crucial role in the successful migration and implementation of D365 F&O across multiple countries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and technical experts, to ensure the seamless transition from AX to D365 F&O. This is a remote position with some travel required to key locations for project-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technical aspects of the migration and upgrade from AX to D365 F&O, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and customize solutions within D365 F&O to meet the unique requirements of each country, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and best practices.
- Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process to address any issues and optimize system performance.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other technical team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, coding standards, and user guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in AX and D365 F&O development, with a proven track record of successful upgrades and implementations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in X++, MorphX, Visual Studio, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
- ERP Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and AX.
- Project Experience: Experience in large-scale, multi-country ERP upgrade projects, preferably in a remote work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement fixes efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to project locations for meetings, workshops, and other activities.
