Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Asnières-sur-Seine is seeking an individual to assess product competitiveness and perform market analysis. The role includes conducting SWOT analyses and collaborating with R&D for new product proposals, alongside assisting sales staff in promotional activities. Applicants must be proactive and passionate about innovation. Competitive compensation is offered.
Responsibilities
- Continuous assessment of the product to ensure its competitiveness.
- Provide regular reports on the product and its impact.
- Conduct competitive market analysis.
- Perform SWOT analysis and propose an action plan.
- Assist sales staff in promoting the product.
- Work with R&D to develop new product proposals.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Continuous assessment of the product to ensure its competitiveness and durability, whether in service or capital investment:
- Be aware of trends in the stainless steel and electrical steel markets.
- Providing regular reports describing the product, its impact and the actions to be taken.
- Know the competitive market (competitive intelligence) and analyse it using a product approach: market position, strategic plans, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
- Carry out and present a SWOT analysis of our equipment (Strength Weaknesses Opportunities Threats) and propose recommendations and an action plan
- Analyse previous sales
- Prepare annual strategic objectives for the product: profitability, growth, innovation, etc.
- Assist sales staff in promoting the product (presentations, strengths, weaknesses, USP)
- Supply and manage the equipment documentation library
- Work with R&D to develop new product proposals
- Maintain a strong link with production in terms of project development and continuous improvement
- Punctual start-up and optimisation of technologies on site
- Feedback on new developments
- Organising the collection of information/data directly on customer sites in order to provide feedback and new software for optimising operations.
To do this, he or she relies on the Operations and Finance departments.
