Job summary

Swan, Europe’s embedded banking specialist, seeks a VP Security to lead information security across product, platform and operations. You’ll advise the CEO and ExCo on cyber risk, engage regulators, and shape secure architecture. Report to the CTO and drive risk-aware decisions in a fast-moving fintech environment.

You’ll guide a small security team, own ISMS processes, and partner with audit, compliance and engineering to maintain a strong security posture as Swan scales across Europe.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security & security engineering.
• Strong background in cloud security, IAM, network and app security.
• Hands-on governance, risk & compliance: ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate security strategy and budget aligned with business goals.
• Explain risks and costs to executives and risk committees in clear business language.
• Lead a security team of about four and expand their scope and influence.
• Own ICT risk management, co-chair the Security Committee and drive reviews.
• Drive audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and sign-off policies.
• Represent Swan's security posture to regulators, auditors and partners.
• Steer security projects with delivery metrics and controls.
• Set security and privacy expectations, ensure business continuity and DR governance.
• Address emerging risks including AI security and fraud/anti-abuse support.
