Job summary

Swan is seeking a VP Security to serve as the senior security authority and Information Security Management Leader. You will advise the CEO and ExCo on cyber risk, shape secure development across Product, Platform and Operations, and report to the CTO.

Lead a small team and drive risk-based decisions in a high-trust environment. You’ll steer audits, regulatory compliance, and engagements with regulators, auditors, banks, and insurers while advancing security maturity and incident response

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security and security engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA, and PCI/DSS as applicable.
• Experience with regulators, auditors, and banking partners.

Responsibilities

• Define security strategy and budget aligned with Swan's objectives and risk appetite.
• Lead a security team of ~4 and drive risk-based decisions for product, platform and operations.
• Own ICT risk management, drive audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Represent Swan's security posture to regulators, auditors, banks and customers.
• Steer security projects with emphasis on delivery, controls, metrics and incident response.
• Address emerging risks (e.g., AI security) and support fraud/anti-abuse functions.
