Tech Soft 3D seeks an experienced leader to captain the global Engineering organization, spanning the US and Europe. You will partner with Product Management and leadership to shape vision, define roadmaps, and set priorities for execution on complex 3D technologies.

You will lead the Engineering Leadership Team, drive architecture and quality, champion AI-assisted workflows, and guide growth, budgets, and international talent strategy. Significant travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software experience with leadership of engineering teams.
• Executive-level leadership with technical credibility.
• Experience defining technical strategy and translating into roadmaps, priorities, and execution.
• Experience bringing AI/ML into engineering practices and/or software products.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business and financial judgment.

• Lead Tech Soft 3D’s global Engineering organization across the US and Europe
• Serve on the Executive Team and represent Engineering in executive and Board-level discussions
• Partner with Product Management and company leadership to define technology vision and roadmap
• Lead the Engineering Leadership Team in setting priorities and annual goals
• Guide technical direction, architecture, core 3D technology, and complex engineering problem-solving
• Set standards for engineering quality, reliability, execution, and delivery
• Champion AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Explore AI/ML capabilities for products with Product Management
• Build and develop a collaborative Engineering leadership team
• Coach, provide feedback, support career development, succession planning, and hiring
• Own Engineering budgets and staffing
• Lead Engineering-side M&A diligence and integration
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry shifts

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software experience, including significant experience building production software and leading engineering teams
• Deep technical expertise in 3D technology and hands-on contribution to complex, high-performance software systems
• Executive-level leadership with technical credibility
• Significant people leadership experience, including leading managers and globally distributed engineering teams
• Experience defining technical strategy and translating it into roadmaps, priorities, and execution
• Experience bringing AI/ML into engineering practices and/or software products
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, automated testing, and quality practices
• Experience architecting complex systems and/or web-based enterprise platforms
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience presenting engineering strategy, roadmaps, and priorities to executive and Board-level audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business and financial judgment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• Preferred bonus qualifications include modern AI/ML frameworks, LLM-based tooling, or MLOps; CAD, CAE, PLM, or related engineering software markets; working across multiple countries and cultures; additional language skills
