Jobtailor in France seeks a senior IT Product Owner to own the Product domain within the IT department. You will define the functional vision, application landscape, and roadmap for Product, ensuring cross-functional consistency across processes, data, and interfaces throughout the lifecycle.

You will gather and prioritize requirements with business process owners, manage a portfolio of enhancements, and oversee functional deliverables, tests, and secure releases.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in information systems, engineering, project management, or equivalent.
7+ years as a functional domain lead or IT Product Owner in industrial environments.
Hands-on PLM experience and strong understanding of product development.
Experience with PIM/DAM and product information distribution.
Strong skills in end-to-end project management and functional scoping.
Knowledge of data governance, master data, interoperability and integrations.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

Own the functional responsibility for the Product domain within the IT department.
Define and maintain the functional vision, application landscape, and roadmap for the Product domain.
Ensure cross-functional consistency across processes, data, master data, interfaces, and solutions throughout the Product lifecycle.
Gather, analyze, structure, and prioritize requirements with Business Process Owners and operational teams.
Build and manage the portfolio of enhancements and projects from scoping through deployment.
Write or oversee functional deliverables, specifications, business rules, and test scenarios.
Ensure consistency between PLM, PIM/DAM, CAD/PDM, ERP, and CRM solutions.
Contribute to Product data governance.
Organize and lead functional testing and ensure secure production releases.
Develop a continuous improvement approach and manage service quality.
Structure documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Lead major enhancements and key projects, managing schedules, risks, decisions, and contributing teams.
Prepare change management, communications, training, and adoption measurement activities.
Identify and test practical applications of AI across the Product lifecycle.
Monitor solutions, market practices, and innovations.
Contribute to RUN operations, first-line support, ticketing, and incident resolution.
Bring together stakeholders from Marketing, R&D, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality, After-Sales Service, and IT.

Requirements

Master’s degree in information systems, engineering, project management, or an equivalent field
Significant experience—ideally 7 years or more—as a functional domain lead, application manager, IT Product Owner, or functional project manager in an industrial environment
Hands-on experience managing a PLM solution and a strong understanding of Product development and industrialization processes
Experience with a PIM and/or DAM solution and a strong understanding of Product information distribution requirements
Proficiency in functional scoping and end-to-end project management
Ability to model processes, formalize business rules, and produce clear documentation
Good understanding of data governance, master data, interoperability, and application integration
Proficiency in the professional use of generative AI
Proven experience managing and coordinating systems integrators, software vendors, external partners, and internal IT teams
Knowledge of a CAD/PDM solution, ideally SolidWorks
Good knowledge of Marketing and After-Sales Service processes
Functional knowledge of an ERP and CRM system
Experience in an international or multi-company environment
Cross-functional perspective, business orientation, curiosity, and an appetite for innovation
Functional leadership and the ability to bring people together without direct management authority
Thoroughness, autonomy, strong analytical and synthesis skills, and results orientation
Strong writing skills, teaching ability, and confidence facilitating workshops and committees
Proficiency in written and spoken English required
