IXO is seeking a talented graphic/UI/UX designer to contribute to IXO design work. You will create graphics, layouts and interfaces that meet stated user needs. Develop wireframes, prototypes and design-system elements in Figma.

Apply typography and visual structure to improve readability and consistency. Review iterations and record the reasoning behind decisions and usability recommendations. Deliverables include design artifacts, scenario briefs, critiques and documented design decisions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in graphic or UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio and expert Figma practice.
• Accessibility and inclusive-design experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics, layouts and interfaces suited to stated user needs.

• Apply typography and visual structure to improve readability and consistency.
• Review iterations and record the reasoning behind decisions and usability recommendations.

Experience and eligibility

You must be based in the United States. The preferred profile is five or more years in graphic or UI/UX design, a strong portfolio and expert Figma practice. Bring depth in typography, layout and color, along with the ability to critique and iterate complex work. Accessibility and inclusive-design experience is helpful.

Deliverables and pay

Deliverables include design artifacts, scenario briefs, critiques and documented design decisions. IXO will agree the deliverables and schedule before the engagement begins.

Pay is $35 $85/hr in USD. Work is remote.
