IXO is seeking a senior designer to participate in remote design interviews, where you articulate your approach to design problems, craft judgments, and decision criteria. You may contribute as the designer being interviewed or as the interviewer guiding the discussion.

The engagement involves discussing trade-offs across product, UX, brand and related design areas, and explaining your critique process with supporting portfolio evidence. Remote, with recording and structured sessions.

Your contribution at IXO

Help IXO understand the reasoning behind experienced design judgment. In a structured remote conversation, you will explain how you approach a problem, assess craft and decide when a design is ready for use. Depending on the assignment, you may contribute as the designer being interviewed or as the interviewer guiding the discussion.

Suitable experience

The role is for senior designers with a developed view of craft, critique and completion standards. You should be able to explain your decisions clearly and support your experience with a shareable portfolio; a website link is useful. Product, user‑experience, brand and adjacent design specialties are relevant.

Format and pay

A task or interview is expected to involve roughly four to five hours, including preparation and a short review afterward. The work is remote and recorded. IXO will confirm the interview structure, recording arrangements, assignment volume and schedule before participation.

Pay is $260/hr in USD. The fee applies to the agreed work scope, including the preparation and review time specified for the assignment. There is no guarantee of a fixed number of interviews.

Share only public or otherwise authorized portfolio work. Recording consent and the permitted uses of contributions will be explained before a session; private, unreleased or NDA-restricted material should not be included.
