IXO Labs is seeking a graphic/UI designer to author prompt-based design questions and assess candidate responses. You will use practical website, app, branding and marketing examples to test visual decisions and ensure tasks reflect realistic design workflows.

You will explain critiques with precise visual details and reference examples, supporting a rigorous evaluation of multimodal reasoning. This is a remote, flexible role with weekly hours around 10–20, potentially 40 with agreement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of graphic or UI design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related discipline
• Strong visual portfolio required
• Residence must be in the US, Canada, New Zealand, UK or Australia
• Exposure to LLMs and generative-AI prompting is required
• Strong written and spoken communication and careful visual inspection are important
• Purely UX-focused background without strong visual design practice does not meet this track

Experience and eligibility

You need more than one year of graphic or UI design experience, a bachelor’s degree in design or a related discipline, and a strong visual portfolio. Current residence must be in the US, Canada, New Zealand, UK or Australia. Exposure to LLMs and generative-AI prompting is required. Strong written and spoken communication and careful visual inspection are important. A purely UX-focused background without strong visual design practice does not meet this track.

Deliverables and pay

Outputs include design briefs, reference reasoning and annotated quality judgments. Plan around 10–20 hours weekly, with additional scope potentially reaching 40 hours only by agreement. A desktop-based portfolio walkthrough may be part of assessment; IXO will confirm any screen-sharing step before it occurs.

Pay is $55 $85/hr in USD. Work is remote.
