Alstom is seeking a Turnkey Tender Requirement Manager to lead requirement management for turnkey transport system bids. You will ensure customer requirements are identified, allocated, analyzed, and answered, providing a solid commitment on compliance while supporting the Bid Manager and Technical Bid Manager.

Key duties include modeling the requirement process, coordinating analysis, tracking progress, and communicating non-compliances.

Qualifications

• Experience using Requirement Management tools (DOORS, Polarion, or Comply Pro).
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Experience in international tenders, ideally railway transport or complex infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools; ability to develop macros (Power BI, Excel VBA, Python).

• Implement and monitor the Requirement Management process during the tender phase.
• Identify, structure and allocate customer requirements to relevant tender teams.
• Coordinate requirement analysis with stakeholders and validate responses with Bid/Technical Bid Managers.
• Provide progress tracking and reporting on requirement management activities.
• Highlight bid non-compliances and define necessary qualifications.
• Set up and manage the requirements database using DOORS.
• Contribute to process improvement within the Turnkey Bid Requirement Management team.
• Support deployment of AI-based tools to improve efficiency and quality.

To support our worldwide growth opportunities, we are looking for a Turnkey Tender Requirement Manager to lead requirement management activities for turnkey transport system bids and help secure robust, compliant and competitive offers.

Your mission

In this role, you will drive the Requirement Management process during the tender phase, ensuring customer requirements are clearly identified, allocated, analysed and answered. You will provide a solid and fair commitment on the level of compliance of our offer, while supporting the Bid Manager and Technical Bid Manager with clear decision-making inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Requirement Management process throughout the tender phase.
• Ensure all customer requirements are identified, structured and allocated to the relevant tender teams.
• Coordinate requirement analysis by each stakeholder and validate responses in consultation with the Bid Manager and Technical Bid Manager.
• Provide detailed progress tracking and reporting on requirement management activities.
• Give a clear view of bid non-compliances and define the associated qualifications.
• Set up and manage the requirements database using the DOORS Requirement Management tool.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Requirement Management process within the Turnkey Bid Requirement Management team and with other Alstom departments.
• Support the definition, validation and deployment of AI-based tools to improve requirement management efficiency and quality.

Your profile

We value passion, ownership and strong communication skills. You do not need to meet every requirement, but the following experience and capabilities will help you succeed and grow in this role:

• Experience on the use of Requirement Management tool (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Comply Pro)
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Experience in international tenders, ideally in railway transport systems or complex infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of project management principles and tender governance.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, with strong analytical, synthesis and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools, ability to develop macros to facilitate data processing (Power BI, Excel macro, VBA, Python).
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
