BlaBlaCar is seeking a Business Manager to join a fast-paced team and scale our Train business across Europe, bridging strategy and execution.

You will own rail carrier relationships, define product priorities, and explore new verticals while partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to build a scalable operation.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives in a multi-modal marketplace.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business, management, or finance.
• 2–3 years in management consulting, high-growth startups, or business development.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Proven negotiation and account management experience.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and collaboration abilities.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English; another European language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Scale the Train Business Unit by expanding into new European markets and boosting sales in existing ones.
• Improve profitability through strategic initiatives while monitoring sales and costs.
• Lead partnerships and negotiations with rail carriers and GDS providers.
• Navigate the liberalizing European rail environment to uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define train roadmap priorities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Customer Care for compliant operations.
• Discover and launch new B2B revenue streams for the train vertical.
• Benchmark new markets or verticals beyond trains.
• Manage secondary European markets without a GM.
• Support agile strategy with high-impact business projects.
