MSX International is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to support automotive workshops with remote diagnostics and expert guidance. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and high-voltage systems across a connected repair network.

You will analyze diagnostic data, provide actionable recommendations, and collaborate with engineers on escalated issues. A CDI contract in a dynamic EV-focused environment offers ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in automotive dealership/workshop environments as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics.
• Proven experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) and high-voltage systems.
• Valid High-Voltage Electrical Certification (HV certification).
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
• Comfortable providing remote coaching and support to technicians.

Responsabilités

Job Description

Are you passionate about automotive diagnostics and looking to leverage your expertise to support a network of repair facilities without working in a workshop every day?

Key Responsibilities

• Handle technical support requests from workshops and repair facilities via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Perform remote diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and high-voltage vehicle issues.
• Support field technicians in fault-finding activities and repair procedures.
• Analyze diagnostic data and test results from measurement tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Provide clear and effective technical recommendations to resolve complex cases.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical experts on critical and escalated issues.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an automotive dealership or workshop environment, as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics.
• Proven experience working with Electric Vehicles (EVs) and high-voltage systems.
• Valid High-Voltage Electrical Certification (HV certification).
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
• A strong coach and mentor, comfortable providing guidance and technical support to technicians remotely.
