Job summary

Houlihan Lokey in Paris is seeking a Senior Associate/VP to join the Technology Team, driving technology M&A transactions and delivering strategic advisory to clients.

You will lead client meetings, coordinate due diligence, and develop complex financial models (LBO and DCF) for end-to-end deals.

The role requires 5–7 years in investment banking, a 2:1 degree, fluency in English and French, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
• Experience in Technology sector with end-to-end sell-side mandates.
• Strong academic track record (2:1 or equivalent).
• Advanced financial modeling (LBO and DCF) and accounting knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead the execution of Technology M&A transactions. Coordinate and perform comprehensive business due diligence, acting as a key driver from mandate to successful close.
• Create, develop, and review complex financial models (including LBO and DCF). Prepare, analyse, and help explain historical and projected financial information, and expertly value companies and businesses.
• Act as a key client contact on transactions, leading client meetings and playing a significant role in pitches. Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other strategic presentations.
• Build enduring relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, professional advisors, and other stakeholders. Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements, and assist in initiating and extending group client development efforts to grow the business entrepreneurially.
• Supervise, manage, and proactively develop the junior team, providing mentorship in financial analyses and deal execution.
