Zusammenfassung

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for full-time, on-site at our facility.

The role requires strong aseptic technique, OR support, and readiness for 12-hour weekend shifts; a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available. The successful candidate will have 5 years of OR experience, NBSTSA/NCCT certification, and BLS, with training in neurosurgery/spine, cardiothoracic, vascular, robotics, and complex orthopedics.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or completion of a military program in Surgical Technology or OR Specialist.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider and NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• 5 years total OR experience; 2 years in neurosurgery/spine/cardiothoracic/vascular/robotics; ST III qualifications.

Aufgaben

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and its application.
• Assist in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments for surgery.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assist RN circulator in patient prep and room turnover.
• Work in heightened procedures: neurosurgery/spine, cardiothoracic, vascular, complex orthopedics, robotics.
• Monitor sterility of supplies and document charges.
• Attend in-services and participate in Performance Improvement.
• Develop policies and serve as a clinical resource.
