Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Raw Material Commodity Buyer to join our European team based in France. You will own the procurement strategy for key raw material commodities and manage a multi-country spend, collaborating with Logistics, R&D, and regional teams to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability.

You will lead supplier negotiations, tenders, and long-term agreements, develop regional commodity strategies, and ensure data integrity across master data and contracts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and category management.
• Experience with market intelligence and cost-improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own the procurement strategy for key raw material commodities.
• Manage a 20–30M EUR spend across 6 countries.
• Lead supplier negotiations, tenders, contracts, and long-term agreements.
• Develop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with HQ direction.
• Shape and optimize the supplier base for cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Oversee pricing management across quotations, contracts, and planning cycles.
• Ensure compliance and timely contract renewals.
