Job summary

ERAMET in Paris, FR seeks a Raw Materials Category Manager F/M to define and deploy global sourcing strategies. You will drive responsible procurement, deliver measurable savings, and partner with site buyers, operations and technical teams.

International travel is required, reporting to the Group Energy & Raw Materials Procurement Director. You will lead category strategy development, supplier panels, and SRM while ensuring ESG and HSE commitments are embedded in supplier selection and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with a specialization in Procurement.
• 10–15 years of professional experience in raw materials procurement, preferably international.
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diplomacy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy category sourcing strategies aligned with Group objectives.
• Integrate HSE and ESG requirements into supplier selection and contracts.
• Analyze needs at global, regional, and site levels with stakeholders to identify value opportunities.
• Define and manage the supplier panel, including mapping and performance benchmarking.
• Lead sourcing activities, RFQs/RFPs, and negotiations to deliver savings and value.
• Formalize Group framework agreements with Legal and ensure lifecycle management.
• Drive SRM for strategic suppliers with KPIs and improvement initiatives.
• Support and coordinate site buyers and monitor KPIs.
• Contribute to budget and procurement transformation projects.
