Prysmian Group is seeking a Raw Material Commodity Buyer to join our European team based in France. You will develop and execute commodity strategies, manage multi-country spend, and collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Finance, Quality, Sustainability, and HSE to maximize value.

You will report to a European Commodity Manager and work with a network of buyers across Europe while coordinating with local production sites to ensure delivery, quality, and sustainability targets

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles with knowledge of procurement processes and category management.
• Solid expertise in market intelligence, cost-improvement initiatives, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own the procurement strategy for key raw material commodities across multiple countries.
• Lead allocation processes in partnership with Logistics to secure cost advantages.
• Develop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with global directions from HQ.
• Shape and optimize the supplier base for cost, quality, sustainability, and reliability.
• Lead supplier negotiations, tenders, contracts, and long-term agreements.
