Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead the purchasing strategy for accessory families across Europe, based in France with coordination across sites in France and Italy. You will manage supplier panels, lead RFQs, negotiate terms, and drive productivity KPIs, while collaborating with R&D and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years minimum in an industrial purchasing role.
• Master’s degree in Purchasing or Engineering with Purchasing focus.
• Fluent English; Italian is a major asset for supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the purchasing strategy for the accessories family for OEM and aftermarket needs.
• Coordinate requirements with logistics and optimize the supplier panel for French and Italian plants.
• Source and negotiate pricing terms, lead RFQs, and manage framework agreements.
• Implement productivity initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Structure Spare Parts Purchasing activities and collaborate with the Spare Parts Buyer.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, on-time delivery, competitiveness) across the panel.
• Collaborate with Accessory Project Buyer and R&D teams to design cost-optimized accessories.
