Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris seeks an Energy Modeler and Technology Analyst to lead energy modelling and analysis for the IEA collaboration. You will develop sectoral models, perform quantitative analysis, and contribute to flagship and thematic publications, working closely with multiple directorates and external partners.

The role requires advanced degree and 3–7 years’ experience in energy economics, with strong skills in TIMES, Matlab, Python or R.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in engineering, mathematics or economics.
• At least 3–7 years in applied economic and policy analysis, preferably in energy.
• Strong background in energy modelling and quantitative analysis.

Responsabilités

• Characterize and model one or several sub-sectors within sectoral models of IEA Global Energy and Climate Model.
• Contribute to quantitative analysis for IEA publications and develop thought-leading analysis of energy trends.
• Draft reports, working papers, and briefing notes for senior management.
