Résumé du poste

OECD seeks an energy analyst to contribute to energy technology policy, modelling and analysis. You will work on sectoral models, support major publications, and stay abreast of global energy developments in a collaborative environment.

The role requires advanced degrees and several years of quantitative energy analysis, with strong writing skills and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Python/R is an asset. Paris-based position within the Energy Technology Policy Division.

Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree in engineering, mathematics or economics.
  • 3–7 years in applied economic and policy analysis, preferably in energy.
  • Excellent understanding of energy sector dynamics.
  • Strong quantitative background and experience with large-scale energy models and datasets.
  • Proven analytical abilities and strong writing skills.

Responsabilités

  • Characterize and model sub-sectors within sectoral models used in IEA Global Energy and Climate Model.
  • Contribute to quantitative analysis for IEA publications and develop forward-looking analysis of energy trends.
  • Stay informed on energy, technology and policy developments across member/non-member countries.
  • Draft reports, working papers, presentations and briefing notes for senior management.
