The OECD seeks an experienced energy analyst to join the Energy Technology Policy Division in Paris. The role focuses on energy modelling, sub-sector analysis, and contributing to flagship publications.

You will work with international partners to produce quantitative insights and policy-relevant analyses. Candidates should hold an advanced degree in engineering, economics or related fields and have 3–7 years in applied economic and policy analysis, with strong Excel and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics or economics.
• 3–7 years' experience in applied economic and policy analysis.
• Strong quantitative background and energy sector knowledge.
• Excellent writing skills demonstrated in past work.

Responsabilités

• Characterize and model energy sub-sectors within sectoral models.
• Contribute to quantitative analysis for IEA publications.
• Draft reports, working papers, and briefing notes for senior management.
• Collaborate with OECD and international partners to link analysis to policy.
