Yuno in Remote is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Data team to design and govern the data platform powering its payments platform. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and own end-to-end data pipelines handling high-volume transactions in real time.

The stack features StarRocks, Flink, DBT, and Airflow; you will drive reliability, data quality, and security with PCI-DSS and GDPR considerations, while collaborating with product, AI, and finance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data/software engineering with staff or principal level experience.
• Deep expertise in large-scale data platforms (streaming, batch, or hybrid).
• Hands-on with Spark, Flink, Kafka, StarRocks; strong Python and SQL.
• Cloud data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data quality governance.
• English proficiency in written and spoken form.

Responsabilités

• Define architecture within the data platform and deliver end-to-end initiatives.
• Lead design of scalable, low-latency data pipelines for real-time payments data.
• Set quality standards, testing, observability, and documentation for the Data team.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, AI, and Finance to unlock value.
• Ensure platform reliability, data security (PCI-DSS, GDPR), and incident response.
