Soda is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end on the Java backend and the TypeScript/Angular frontend powering Soda Cloud. You will design, implement, and ship production-ready software from database to UI.

You will work with MySQL and ClickHouse, build multi-tenant SaaS services, and ship AI-assisted workflows and tests across the stack. The role is fully remote in the EU with equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software at a product company with production ownership.
• Strong Java: REST APIs, DB interactions, async processing.
• TypeScript and modern frontend framework (Angular preferred).
• Frontend fundamentals: complex UIs, state management, performance.
• Solid SQL in backend: schema design and query optimization (MySQL, ClickHouse).
• Testing habit: unit, integration, and e2e tests (Cypress/Playwright).
• Architectural judgment and API design from consumer perspective.
• DevOps fluency: containers, CI/CD, IaC, Linux.
• Agentic engineering: AI coding agents in production code.
• Independent in a distributed, async team across 12+ countries.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Build features end-to-end: backend APIs, DB changes, frontend UI, and ship to production.
• Design and implement backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL): schema design and optimization.
• Build frontend features that are clean, fast, and intuitive.
• Optimize performance across the stack and write tests at every layer.
• Build agentic features: AI-assisted workflows to help users identify issues.
• Improve agentic development: test feedback loops and agent instructions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers to decide what to build.
