WalletConnect, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale the data platform powering payments and analytics across WalletConnect Pay.

You’ll build event-driven pipelines, maintain real-time processing, and ensure data quality across high-volume workflows. You’ll create backend services to expose data to internal platforms and APIs, collaborating with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and operating production data systems.
• Proven ability to design and maintain data pipelines and platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and productionizing generated code.
• Strong SQL and large-scale data processing expertise.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Airflow, dbt, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Athena).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines for payments and platform data, in real-time or near real-time.
• Maintain and evolve the real-time data platform from MVP to scalable production.
• Model and process transactional ledger-style data for reconciliation and reporting.
• Develop backend services exposing data to internal platforms and APIs.
• Own deployment, monitoring, and reliability of data systems; collaborate on architecture decisions.
