Upsun, a remote-first cloud data platform, seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Science and Engineering team. You will model data, own metrics, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

You will work with modern tools like DBT, SQL, Python, GCP, and AWS to drive insights and business decisions in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL and DBT in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience building data models for large datasets in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Curiosity for new tools, learning, and solving complex problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work asynchronously across teams.
• Comfort collaborating in a remote, global team.

Responsabilités

• Design and build data models and data products using DBT and medallion architecture.
• Define and own key business metrics and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements and share methods.
• Lead data modeling projects and select appropriate tools for scalable solutions.
• Work with petabyte-scale datasets and diverse data sources.
• Provide strategic advisory on analytics impact across product and business.
• Improve team processes and produce reusable data solutions.
• Utilize modern stack tools (GCP BigQuery, AWS S3, Fivetran, Hightouch) and evolving architecture.
• Support a globally distributed remote culture with knowledge sharing.
