Job summary

European Payments Initiative (EPI) seeks a Staff Designer to define and drive the end-to-end product design strategy and UI vision for Wero, a European wallet. You will shape long-term experience principles and design critical journeys, turning complex regulatory and business requirements into clear, accessible interfaces.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of product design experience in product-led organisations.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
• Experience designing in payments, fintech or regulated domains is a strong plus.
• Remote-first, multicultural environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive end-to-end product design strategy and UI craft for Wero.
• Shape long-term experience principles while designing critical journeys and interactions.
• Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into clear interface solutions.
• Mentor designers and elevate design maturity across teams.
• Communicate strategy and trade-offs to senior stakeholders across functions.
• Plan and synthesize discovery and research to inform direction.
