Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer for Money Movement in France. You will own the architecture of a new trust accounting platform, building secure, scalable backend services for financial records and fund management.

Collaborate with product, legal, and finance teams to meet regulatory needs and drive delivery across a fast-growing, international tech environment. You will mentor engineers, establish testing and CI/CD, and shape technical strategy while ensuring high reliability

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Staff Engineer level or equivalent senior leadership.
• Production-grade backend systems experience.
• Cloud and production operations experience (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring).
• Strong architectural judgment and cross-functional influence.
• Ownership mindset, delivery-focused, high quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and greenfield development of a trust accounting platform.
• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable backend services.
• Establish foundations for financial correctness and compliance.
• Implement automated testing, quality gates, and CI/CD.
• Drive engineering best practices and observability.
• Mentor engineers and promote architectural standards.
• Ensure integration with existing products and scalable transaction handling.
• Monitor performance and improve reliability and throughput.
