Job summary

Zefir is hiring a senior data platform engineer to own the canonical data layer and metric definitions for a GDPR-compliant analytics stack in Paris. You will design and maintain a semantic layer, secure BI primitives, and coordinate across Engineering, Growth, Finance and Ops.

With 7+ years in data or platform roles, you will ship end-to-end pipelines using BigQuery, dbt, Python and orchestration tools. The role offers flexible remote work from France and a hybrid setup in Paris.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data analytics, data engineering or platform engineering, in fast-moving environments.
• Experience shipping data platforms, semantic layers and KPI definitions.
• Strong SQL, Python and modern data stack skills with governance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own canonical models and metric definitions with a single trusted source of truth.
• Build a self-serve semantic layer and secure BI primitives for multiple teams.
• Define event taxonomy, tracking and data governance across tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Growth, Finance and Ops to ensure consistent metrics.
