Job summary

Sekoia in Paris or Rennes is seeking a Data Engineer / Data Scientist to build and operate a scalable data platform that handles massive real-time volumes and turns data into tangible product value.

You will own data pipelines in Python, orchestrate with Airflow, apply ML algorithms, and deploy to production with CI/CD, monitoring, and resilience under heavy loads. The role offers up to 3 remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree and 3–5 years of professional experience combining data science and software development or data engineering with algorithms.
• Proficient in Python and its ecosystem: pandas, scikit-learn, SQL.
• Strong skills in algorithms, complexity, optimization and ML.
• Engineer: write tested, maintainable code with CI/CD practices.
• Autonomous and mature; take ownership of subjects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data processing workflows in Python from development to production.
• Centralize and harmonize heterogeneous sources to make data accessible and reliable for all teams.
• Develop, test, and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow.
• Join a squad to own the data science / algorithmic building block of the feature.
• Deploy your algorithms to production with CI/CD and monitoring; ensure resilience under heavy load.
