Orus in Paris is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join as the second data engineer, working with the first to scale the data platform and enable reliable data-driven decisions. You will build data quality frameworks, CI/CD for dbt, data contracts, and a governed semantic layer to empower analytics and product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on dbt experience.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouse.
• Ability to reason about data models and architecture tradeoffs.
• Willingness to learn TypeScript.
• Proven collaboration across teams.
• Experience in SaaS/fintech data environments.
• Residence in Île‑de‑France; Paris office availability.

Responsabilités

• Shape and prioritizing data requests with stakeholders.
• Assess data impacts with Engineering when the application or back office changes.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions clearly.
• Monitor data quality and resolve production issues.
• Developing and improving SQL models.
• Pairing with Davi and contributing to technical and architecture decisions.
