Job summary

Vestas France is seeking a Service Operator (M/F) to optimize wind farms during their lifecycle, ensuring maximum turbine capacity. The role is site-based in Langres with mobility to support multiple sites within the region.

You will perform service inspections across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, collaborate with technicians, planners, storekeepers, and customers to maintain strong relationships, and uphold stringent safety and environmental standards while achieving service

Qualifications

• Technical training or equivalent (NVQ Level 1/2, BTEC First Diploma or high school with technical experience).
• Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken) and familiarity with the Office Pack.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections per Vestas specifications across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with customers and regional team members on site.
• Work safely, adhering to high safety and environmental standards and meet service targets.

EVP MED / Region MED / Area Site Management Langres

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met

Qualifications

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1,2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics...) desired
• Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack.

Competencies

• Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.
• Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.
