Job summary

Vestas France is seeking a skilled Field Operator/Service Technician to optimize wind farms during their lifecycle, ensuring maximum turbine availability. The role reports to the Area Supervisor and involves field inspections and customer interface across sites.

Mobility is required, with travel and working at height, and strict adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has technical training, is autonomous, and comfortable with English and Office software, to support service operations.

Qualifications

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1/2) or equivalent, technical fields.
• Knowledge of technical English and Office Suite.
• Autonomous, results-oriented with good communication.

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines

Responsibilities

You will have a key role in ensuring the loyalty of our customers over the long term. Working in pairs, you will report to the Area Supervisor and will be responsible for:

Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.

Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.

Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met

Qualifications

Youth Training (NVQ Level 1,2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics...) desired

Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack.

Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.

Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.
