Job summary

Vestas French team is looking for a site maintenance operator to optimize wind farm service life cycles in Châteauroux. You will perform inspections alongside electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work to maximize turbine availability.

Mobility is required as travels are expected; you will report to the Area Supervisor and collaborate with technicians, planners, and storekeepers to uphold safety standards and service targets.

Qualifications

• Technical background with maintenance, electrical or mechanical experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic service inspections following Vestas specifications.
• Build constructive relationships with customers and regional team members.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

EVP MED / Region MED / Area Site Management Châteauroux

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines

Responsibilities

You will have a key role in ensuring the loyalty of our customers over the long term. Working in pairs, you will report to the Area Supervisor and will be responsible for:

• Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met

Qualifications

Youth Training (NVQ Level 1,2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics...) desired

Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack.

Competencies

Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.

Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.
