Job summary

Vestas France is seeking a skilled service operator to join our Field Operations team. You will perform periodic service inspections and support the maintenance of wind turbines on client sites, collaborating with technicians, planners and storekeepers while upholding safety standards.

You will contribute to maximizing turbine capacity, build strong client relationships, and advance through four levels of service operation roles, in a company with a long-standing wind energy heritage and

Qualifications

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1,2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics) desired
• Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack
• Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit
• Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines

Responsibilities

You will have a key role in ensuring the loyalty of our customers over the long term. Working in pairs, you will report to the Area Supervisor and will be responsible for:

• Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met
