Job summary

New Amsterdam Technology & Business Ventures is seeking a Solutions Engineer to anchor our Zero Trust Networking initiative in France. You’ll translate complex networking capabilities into clear business value for enterprise customers, working with regional sales and engineering teams.

In this role, you’ll lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concepts for strategic accounts, collaborating with Product and Engineering from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have strong networking and security domain knowledge.
• Ability to discuss architectures with CISOs and translate tech into business value.
• Experience with VPN, cloud networking, or IAM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers.
• Own technical sales presence in France (and possibly Italy) alongside regional AE.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap based on customer needs.

Solutions Engineer | Zero Trust Networking | France Series A

This isn’t a demo role. It’s the technical backbone of a new market.

We’re partnering with a fast-growing European cybersecurity company rebuilding secure remote access for the modern enterprise, as demand for sovereign, European-built security accelerates. Strong product-led adoption, a loyal technical user community, a funded Series A, revenue growing multiples year on year, and rising enterprise demand across Southern Europe.

What we need:

An experienced Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect with a deep technical background in networking, network security, Zero Trust, ZTNA, SASE or secure connectivity. Someone who can discuss network architectures with a CISO, troubleshoot complex environments with an engineering team and translate capability into business value. Experience with VPN technologies, cloud networking or identity and access management is a strong plus. Fluent French or Italian, depending on the market, plus strong English.

What you’ll own:

Technical discovery, solution design and proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers. The technical sales presence in France or Italy, working side by side with the regional Account Executive. A direct line to Product and Engineering, with real customer requirements shaping the roadmap. Genuine ownership and direct access to leadership from day one.

Legacy remote access is breaking. Someone has to prove its replacement works.
